The Bear Cub Skills Camp is designed for young softball players to learn, develop, and enhance their skills in all phases of softball. They will be taught hitting skills to improve stance, hitting for power, and bunting. On the fielding side, all aspects of defensive will be covered; including fly balls; ground balls, catching/throwing, infield/outfield positions. Also, base-running skills will be taught that include stealing, correct base running, and tagging up.
Our staff is eager to help young softball players improve and develop into the best player possible!

Arrival and Departure: Campers should report to LR Softball Field 15 minutes before camp time. In case of rain, call 828-328-7133 to see if camp will be conducted.
What to Bring: Softball shoes and attire, visor/hat, glove, bat, catchers gear, snack and drink. We will break for snack daily. Campers need to bring their own snack. Make sure glove and bats have child’s name labeled clearly.
